Second, we draw your attention to several Articles in the draft Constitution which should alarm all those who are concerned about the unwarranted intrusion of international institutions, about unborn children, and the basic unit of Kosovar society which is the natural family.
1. What should Americans know about Kosovo?
Kosovo declared independence and drafted a new Constitution that could be interpreted to allow abortion on demand and same-sex marriage. It would also remove the right of conscience protection from doctors.

New Search for Oil in Albania
24 April 2008 Tirana _ DWM, a Manas Petroleum subsidiary, announced a new exploration project on Monday to refine nine identified prospects of oil and gas reserves in Albania.
In January, the company announced the find of a vast oil and gas reserve in the north of the country.
The find was based on an independent report compiled by Gustavson Associates LLC on behalf of Manas Petroleum Corporation, which has been awarded a contract by the Albanian government to explore the north for oil and gas reserves.
According to their findings, the unproven reserve holds up to 2.987 billion barrels of oil and 3.014 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
If the oil is capped with a layer of gas, Gustavson calculates the field may total 1.4 billion barrels of light oil and 15 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
If only gas is present, the reserve is expected to contain 28 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
Of the approximately 345 million barrels of oil reserves in the Balkans, 198 million barrels are located in Albania .
Proven natural gas reserves in the Balkans region add up to approximately 2.7 trillion cubic feet.
The company sees Albania as a key asset and presently intends to retain a 100% interest in the project while also evaluating further onshore opportunities in the country.
Under the licence awarded to Manas Petroleum Corporation, the company is allowed to explore oil and gas reserves in an area approximately 780,000 acres in size, located along a geological fold in north-western Albania.
'The probability of success for a wildcat well in a structurally complex area such as this, is relatively high due to the fact that there exists a proven hydrocarbon source and analogous production exists only 20 to 30 km away,' notes Gustavson in the report.
Manas is currently still analysing the findings and will make further announcements on its next steps in the coming weeks.
The corporation is an important player in the development of Albania's terrestrial oil and gas reserves.
In December 2007, Albania's Council of Ministers agreed to allow DWM Petroleum AG, a subsidiary of Manas, to assist in the exploration, development and production of Albania's land-based hydrocarbon reserves in conjunction with the government's Agency of Natural Resources.

Will the CIA Kill or Oust Ecuador’s President?
So, why does the U.S. military have a $60 million military base in Ecuador? The base is part of the U.S. government's much-vaunted 30-year-old war on drugs, one of the U.S. Empire's never-ending wars around the world. The base houses Awacs surveillance planes whose purported mission is to search for international drug smugglers.
Notice that anytime the US declares "war" on anything, as a matter of public policy, whatever has been identified as the object of that :"war" appears to get worse, not better?
The good news for Americans in all this is that the Ecuadorian people are doing their best to rid their country of the CIA and the U.S. military. Maybe the Ecuadorans will start a trend in which all other countries will do the same. While it would obviously be best if the American people were to dismantle their government’s overseas empire themselves, having foreigners do it instead by throwing the CIA and the Pentagon out of their countries would be just as effective and beneficial — to both the United States and the people of the world.

Fox news doctored and falsified the video of Obama's pastor Wright. Wright did not preach those words himself. He was quoting a White Man.; Ambassador Edward Peck. And he is a retired, white, career U.S. diplomat who served 32-years in the U.S. Foreign Service and was chief of the U.S.mission to Iraq under Jimmy Carter. The complete video below will show that Pastor Wright is telling his audience that "I will tell you what a white man named Ambassador Peck said". And then he will quote Mr. Peck. And he ends by reminding his congregation "A white man said this, I didn't say it". Fox didn't show that because they wanted people to think it came from Pastor Wright.

Bosnia war crimes trio convicted
Bosnia's war crimes court has convicted three Bosnian Serbs of killing unarmed Muslim civilians, including women and children, in September 1992.
